Magic in the Air Fundraiser a Success

The Limelight Hotel in Ketchum was alive with music on a sunny Sunday afternoon as Caritas Chorale hosted its fall fundraiser. This was the first fundraiser held at the hotel, and according to President, Richard Stahl, it will probably not be the last.  The fundraiser event was chaired by Candis Witt.

The evening featured dinner with a choice of beef tenderloin, salmon or quinoa stuffed pepper and wine. Dinner entertainment was provided by magician Kipp Sherry. Decorating coordinators, Joy Bond and Cherrie Kessler had the dining room decorated with top hats, playing cards and magic wands. Donna Beaux provided photographic memories to guests.

Caritas Chorale presented several musical selections to the crowd of approximately 120. Selections included: “Magic To Do,” “Danny Boy,” “Blue Skies,” “When Music Fills the Air,” and “Fly Me to the Moon. ” The program concluded with a spirited medley of “I’m Gonna Sing” and “Every Time I Feel the Spirit. ”

The evening concluded with the traditional auction of the baton and raffle drawing. Click the link below to read the article by Karen Bossick.
